Operations and maintenance (O&M) providers are permitted annually by the health district.
SRHD maintains a list of O&M providers that are currently permitted by the health district to provide operations and maintenance services. The health district does not endorse, recommend, or warrant the work of any O&M provider. The following list is provided for informational purposes only.

Contact liquidwaste@srhd.org or 509.324.1560 ext. 1 for questions about permitted O&M providers.
In accordance with WAC 246-272A-0340, on-site sewage system O&M providers must obtain approval from the local health officer prior to providing services within a local health jurisdiction.
O&M providers are permitted annually by Spokane Regional Health District (SRHD). The permit process includes an application, payment of applicable fees and completing the O&M exam at SRHD.
To become a permitted O&M provider, applicants must submit an application, pass the O&M provider exam, and, on the day of the exam, bring a copy of a current Washington State Labor & Industries contractor license and payment (view current SRHD fee schedule) to SRHD’s primary location at 1101 W. College Ave., Spokane, Room 402.
To inquire about becoming a permitted O&M provider, please contact the Liquid Waste Program at liquidwaste@srhd.org or 509.324.1560 ext. 1. Before contacting SRHD, we recommend that you watch the videos on the Washington State Department of Health’s Caring for Your Septic System page and review the Wastewater Rules and Regulations.
