Program Overview

The Medical Reserve Corps of Eastern WA (MRC) is a volunteer group of medical and non-medical professionals:

  • doctors
  • nurses
  • ARNPs
  • PAs
  • behavioral health
  • veterinarians
  • chaplains
  • paramedics
  • EMTs
  • law enforcement, etc.

MRC volunteers are here to respond to disasters and assist in community events.

Training

MRC volunteers can access the following trainings:

  • American Red Cross
    • shelter fundamentals
    • psychological first aid
  • Disaster Mental Health
  • Vaccination
  • ICS -100 & IS-700
  • Blood Borne Pathogens
  • Hospital Emergency Response Team
  • CPR/AED/BBP
