Program Overview
The Medical Reserve Corps of Eastern WA (MRC) is a volunteer group of medical and non-medical professionals:
- doctors
- nurses
- ARNPs
- PAs
- behavioral health
- veterinarians
- chaplains
- paramedics
- EMTs
- law enforcement, etc.
MRC volunteers are here to respond to disasters and assist in community events.
Training
MRC volunteers can access the following trainings:
- American Red Cross
- shelter fundamentals
- psychological first aid
- Disaster Mental Health
- Vaccination
- ICS -100 & IS-700
- Blood Borne Pathogens
- Hospital Emergency Response Team
- CPR/AED/BBP

Public Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Program
Working with other public health staff, healthcare providers and community agencies to respond effectively to health emergencies in and around Spokane County

Do 1 Thing is a 12-month program that makes it easy to prepare for emergencies or disasters.
