Today, during the scheduled October meeting, the Spokane Regional Board of Health (BOH) agreed to defer the decision on whether to discontinue or continue to step two of Spokane Regional Health District’s (SRHD’s) Treatment Services Feasibility Study. They have deferred to the Dec. 5 BOH meeting. This decision is regarding the possibility of separating Treatment Services from SRHD.
SRHD’s Administrative Officer Dr. Alicia Thompson presented a business proforma. The BOH requested additional time to thoroughly review this information. They also had additional requests for proposed business plans that address increasing service capacity in Treatment Services. These would also be discussed during the Dec. 5 meeting.
