Jan 19, 2011

The below information is referring to an old ASIST class from January of 2011. It is here for archival purposes only. To register for the new ASIST class, please click here.

ASIST is a two-day, skills-based training program that teaches assessment and intervention skills to practitioners who are working with people at risk of suicide. ASIST is recognized on the national “best practice” registry.

The ASIST workshop is an opportunity to learn new skills or refresh old ones. Skills and principles are illustrated in case studies presented in DVD and live dramatization. Participants have multiple opportunities to practice skills in role-play simulations and to engage in highly interactive discussions with other participants and workshop trainers.
