Monday's appointment scheduling for H1N1 vaccine ONLY for nasal spray version

8 am – Call (509) 324-1648

During Monday's call center for H1N1 appointments, the Spokane Regional Health District will only be able to schedule appointments for people who are approved for the nasal spray version of the H1N1 vaccine, and who meet the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) criteria for prioritized vaccination.

Those who can make an appointment include:

  • Healthy people ages 2-24
  • Healthy adults up to age 49 who are healthcare workers
  • Healthy people up to age 49 who care for an infant under the age of 6 months old

This development is based on the Health District having only received the nasal spray vaccine. There has been no confirmation of an arrival date for the H1N1 flu shots, which are suitable for a much wider range of people.

When the injectable version of the vaccine arrives the Health District will schedule a call-in appointment date for others who are in the prioritized groups. The public is urged to continue to check the Health District's website and recorded information line (509) 324-1495. These resources will contain up-to-date information on vaccine availability.
