Spokane Regional Health District (SRHD) is conducting its Quality of Life Survey again, and we need YOUR input on top priority issues. The survey helps us continue to improve the quality of life for residents in Spokane County, whether you’re a new resident or have long called this place home.

If your household is selected at random to participate, you’ll receive a letter in the mail in the upcoming week. Remember, anyone in your household over the age of 18 can take the survey, even if the envelope is addressed to someone else. If you currently reside at the address listed on the envelope, you can take the survey! Your responses give SRHD and community partners important information on where changes or improvements can be made.

Residents who take the survey will be asked about their lived experiences within their neighborhoods and the greater community. These include questions on your ability to access health care and healthy foods, the level of safety you experience, job and housing stability, your level of satisfaction with local government infrastructure and services, views on crime and law enforcement, and the quality of relationships and support you have. This year, the survey will also include questions about your experiences with digital devices such as time spent on smartphones, tablets, and social media.

Your input is valuable and will help us make important decisions about the health and well-being of our community. Remember, you have until May 30 to take the survey. 1. Look for the letter and subsequent reminder postcards in your mailbox. Keep in mind that only a select number of households will be chosen at random to receive a Quality of Life Survey invitation at this time.

2. Scan the QR code on the letter or on the back of the postcard or enter the URL provided into your internet browser's address bar.

3. Enter the 5-digit code on the letter or postcard to log into the survey. This code is unique to your household and can only be used once (either by yourself or another adult member of your household).

4. Take the survey by answering a series of questions about your household’s quality of life.
