How to Celebrate Valentine’s Day Safely

Enjoy a Skyride

Enjoy a Skyride

Take in the views of Spokane Falls with the Sweetheart Special on the Numerica SkyRide in Riverfront Park. After the ride, walk over to the Pavilion to enjoy a Valentine’s Day-themed light show.

Get Outside

Get Outside

Lace up your skates and make a reservation at the Numerica Skate Ribbon.

Many local mountains have remained open by practicing safety guidelines - so head up to Silver Mtn., Mt. Spokane, 49 Degrees North, Schweitzer or Look Out Pass. All are just a short drive away.

Go Virtual

Go Virtual

Attend a virtual concert. Many bands have adapted to virtual shows over the last year to entertain safely. Find a cozy spot on the couch and sing along – or better yet, push the furniture out of the way and dance the night away!

In the mood for something a bit more social? Host a virtual group date with your friends and family with a competitive game night.

Bake, Craft, Spread the Love!

Bake, Craft, Spread the Love!

Bake some sweet treats and then drop them off on your neighbors’ porch to spread the love!

Or get crafty and make homemade gifts to give to your Valentine. You could even host a virtual craft night with your friends.

Get Some Local Takeout

Get Some Local Takeout

Support a local restaurant and treat yourself to your favorite meal. It’s true what they say – the quickest way to someone’s heart is through their stomach!

Though celebrating Valentine’s Day from a distance isn’t ideal, it will make the ones we get to celebrate together in the future even sweeter.
