Teachers

Stickman Knows Toolkit

Teachers educate our children while at school, but they also play a key role in their health and safety.

Summary/Overview

When at school, children count on their teachers to be an additional safety resource.  By joining forces with parents, teachers help insure the health and safety of our students while at school. The materials provided below help teachers provide safety information to students in a fun and educational way.

Parent Teacher Group

The main role of the parent teacher group (PTG) is to build strong working relationships between parents, teachers and schools in support of students. Bike and pedestrian safety obviously goes hand-in-hand in supporting students. Stickman Knows resources help bring the right people together to educate your local school and community about bike and pedestrian safety.

School Transportation/Safety Staff

Every parent or guardian wants to feel the security of knowing their young one will arrive to school safely. Whether that is by foot, bike or bus the school transportation department needs to be an integral part of a family's planning. Using the following materials you will be able to effectively and efficiently create safe routes to schools for the kids in Spokane County.
